Finding Berylline Hummingbird in SE Arizona

Status in SE Arizona: Rare summer visitor.

Timing: Apr-Oct, mostly May-Aug.

Status in USA: Only regularly recorded in USA in SE Arizona.

Habitat/location: Recent breeding records from Madera Canyon in the Santa Rita Mountains and Miller Canyon in the Huachuca Mountains, but not since 2010. There were a few records in 2013 and one for a few days in Ramsey Canyon in 2014. Extremely rare elsewhere.
