E Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista:
Pair of SCALED QUAIL flew across the road just east of SR 92, one landing on a wall
Ramsey Canyon Road:
Pair of SCALED QUAIL by the roadside
Huachuca Canyon:
Pair of GOLDEN EAGLES overhead at the 1 mile mark
WHISKERED SCREECH-OWL roosting in a nest hole beyond 1.7 mile mark
Male ELEGANT TROGON showing well just below the dam. Three reported above dam
BUFF-BREASTED FLYCATCHER showing sporadically near the dam
ARIZONA WOODPECKER, DUSKY-CAPPED and BROWN-CRESTED FLYCATCHERS, a couple of DARK-EYED JUNCOS (Gray-headed)
Miller Canyon:
TWO SPOTTED OWLS, the usual male roosting in the previously described pine, and the female was briefly visible on the nest (tail only!) in a nearby sycamore
Ash Canyon B&B:
Super nice male LUCIFER HUMMINGBIRD which showed well for about five minutes, perched on the fence next to his preferred feeders
A stunning male INDIGO BUNTING, WILD TURKEY and much more
