Yard Bird #94

With almost no fanfare, my yard list here at Fun Birding Towers in Rio Rico has crept up by one. I got home at dusk on May 1st after a long day of wading through flycatcher identification, and heard the familiar tick of a Dusky Flycatcher in the driveway. I got a quick look at it, and noted that another was calling from the bushes nearby, but I was so tired it barely registered, and I’ve only just remembered!

So, hoorah, Dusky Flycatcher becomes yard bird number 94, the third addition this spring, following the slightly more enigmatic duo of Costa’s Hummingbird and Golden Eagle.
