 Tucson birders – a date for your diaries. Fellow Brit, Mark Avery, author, naturalist, activist and blogger extraordinaire, will be speaking at Tucson Audubon Society’s Living With Nature lecture series on Wednesday June 19th at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Avery was the RSPB’s Conservation Director for 12 years and will be talking about Saving Birds the British Way. We’re lucky to have such an esteemed environmentalist visiting us, so come along to Pima Community College’s downtown campus to meet Mark and learn more about international wildlife conservation. […]

Yesterday, Sunday April 28, my team, Birds of Fray, took part in Tucson Audubon Society’s annual Birdathon and racked up 130 species, having a great time without finding anything particularly spectacular. My grateful thanks to Pam, Allen, Linda, Malcolm, John and Sharon for their hard work and cheery nature.
